Riley has been a qualified Veterinary Surgeon since 2021 after studying at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh and has held his current position at the practice since graduating. He has also recently completed a GPCert in Small Animal Cardiology and leads our referral cardiology service. Outside of the practice, Riley is also an avid cyclist, reader and cook who loves to explore Edinburgh’s nature and culture as well as the rest of Europe after having been originally born and raised in the US. When not working, he makes sure to care for his cats Hamish and Nessie, and his partner as she continues her work in Equine medicine.
