Iona Mackenzie

Iona qualified from Edinburgh's Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 2014, having moved to Scotland from the Netherlands, and she has been with ICR Vets for almost 10 years! The combination of medical science and the caring nature of the profession suits her perfectly. She loves the daily variety this job offers.

Iona has a particular fondness for our feline friends, but can't resist a canine cuddle! She feels privileged to lead such a caring and highly-skilled team who do an excellent job of looking after our patients, our clients and each other.

When not at work, Iona can be found enjoying the beautiful Scottish outdoors with her husband and two young children
