FREE Puppy Prep Programme

Join our FREE puppy training course at Gorebridge

Does your puppy have what it takes to graduate from our puppy prep programme?

This FREE four-week course is led by our very own Head Nurse Carol. Barrow who is completing an Advanced Diploma in Applied Animal Behaviour.

During this course, you will be introduced to simple training techniques using positive reinforcement and gentle dog handling. You will develop an understanding of puppy behaviour and learning, whilst your pup will enjoy controlled puppy introductions and socialising.

We will also provide you with information on suitable nutrition for your growing puppy, husbandry techniques, parasite prevention and are happy to discuss options for neutering.

 

Where are the Puppy Classes held?

The classes are held at our Gorebridge branch, using our large reception area to host the fun educational evenings. Our puppies have ample room to play with one another, while also allowing quieter areas for the less confident puppies to sit and observe.

When are the puppy classes?

Classes are held on Monday evenings, from 6pm-7pm. Clients will be notified in advance when the next block of classes is due to start.

Who can join the puppy class?

Puppies who have received their first vaccination and are between 11 and 16 weeks of age can join the class.
