We are delighted to inform you of our new cardiology referral service, delivered by our own vet Riley Daen, who is a GPCert certificate holder in Small Animal Cardiology.
As a practice, we are able to offer complete cardiac investigations with echocardiograms, arrhythmia analysis with 24-Holter ECGs, and tailored treatment plans for your pets. Through our emergency service, we also accept urgent stabilisation for cardiac patients.
Riley qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh, in 2021 after first completing a degree in the US in Biochemistry and Computer Science at Georgetown University in 2016. After completing his studies, Riley joined the ICR team as a new vet and has grown with us since.
Riley completed his certificate in Small Animal Cardiology in 2025, and enjoys not only the diagnostic and treatment aspects of cardiac disease, but, most importantly, the ability to work together with owners to help their animals thrive.
