Kayleigh Walsh

Kayleigh has been qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse since 2014 after studying at Athlone Institute of technology and has held her current position at the practice for over three and a half years.

As a Head Nurse, Kayleigh is responsible for managing our team of over twenty RVN’s and five Veterinary Care Assistants.

Kayleigh splits her time between working hands on as a clinical nurse in our theatres and inpatient wards, and looking after our large Nursing and VCA team, to ensure they are supported, motivated and above all happy at work.

Kayleigh is also involved in the IVC Academy for newly graduated Veterinary Nurses. Kayleigh is passionate about supporting and encouraging the newest additions to the profession, ensuring they feel motivated and encouraged to bring new ideas and projects to practice.

Outside of the practice, Kayleigh is also very keen on hiking and exploring. Her favourite hobby is travelling and she is very excited to be going on her first Safari later this year.
