Kayleigh graduated in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Veterinary nursing. Originally from the North East of England Kayleigh’s love for Scotland kept her here where she spent the last 16 years working in a busy Small Animal and referral practice in Edinburgh.
She enjoys all aspect of nursing but her main interests are inpatient care, anaesthesia, surgery, and weight loss clinics. Going forward she would like to do further training in anaesthesia and Schedule 3 procedures.
In recent years Kayleigh has completed a certificate in Pet Bereavement with the Blue Cross and endeavours to provide the best support to clients and pets alike during this difficult time.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her young family, socialising with friends and hikes/walks with her Border Terrier, Oats.
