Hazel Barker

Hazel has been a qualified Veterinary Surgeon since 2017 after studying at Edinburgh University and has held her current position at the practice for over 5 years. In 2021 she completed her Post Graduate certificate in Emergency Medicine and Surgery, and is currently working towards Advanced Practitioner Status in this area. Within the practice Hazel takes an active role our provision of 24 hour emergency care, and manages our canine blood donation register. She is passionate about provided the highest standard of care to our patients when they need it most. Hazel also enjoys Keyhole surgery and caring for our hospitalised patients. Outside the practice, Hazel spends most of her free time trying to keep up with her Border Collie Kip!
